The Interview

This interview was taken at a secret location known only by the name of GAVS HOUSE.
I conducted an interview with the band and this is what some of there answers were.

All four band members sat in gavs living room, whilst a member of the band asked another member the questions and so on until we all had been interviewed. Here are the questions and answers.
FIRSTLY GAV
Question 1 : WHAT DO YOU WANT TO GET FROM THE BAND ?
GAV: I would like to write good music that means something to someone, even if its just someone.
Question 2 : IF ANYONE WHO IN THE BAND INFLUENCES YOU THE MOST ?
GAV : I would probably say Al coz hes a good guitarist.
Question 3 : IN ONE WORD DESCRIBE EACH BAND MEMBER

Question 4 : NAME ONE OF YOUR FLAWS WHICH YOU THINK COULD PISS OFF OTHER BAND MEMBERS
GAV :I would say my lazyness because of me working alot recently.
Question 5 : WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE BAND ?
GAV: I think i write some good lyrics.
Question 6 : NAME ONE THING YOU THINK EACH BAND MEMBER COULD IMPROVE UPON
GAV SAID:
NEIL: He needs to practice more, however its hard for him coz he aint got a drum kit.
MARK: He needs to be abit more tloerant of me and al doing guitar stuff.
AL: He tends to go off in his own world when i can't play something.
Question 7 : WILL YOU SELL OUT ?
GAV: No i dont think i would, i dont care about money as long as im happy.
Question 8 : WHO DO YOU GET ALONG WITH MOST IN THE BAND WHY ?
GAV: Definetly Neil because we see eye to eye on alot of things.
Question 9 : WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU COULD IMPROVE UPON ?
GAV: I need to get abit better on bass, i need to get more musicly gifted.

SECONDLY MARK.


Question 1: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO GET FROM THE BAND ?
MARK: Fame simple as.
Question 2: IF ANYONE WHO IN THE BAND INFLUENCES YOU THE MOST ?
MARK: It would probably have to Al again, yea Al just Al.
Question 3: IN ONE WORD DESCRIBE EACH BAND MEMBER

Question 4: NAME ONE OF YOUR FLAWS WHICH YOU THINK COULD PISS OFF OTHER BAND MEMBERS
MARK: Well even though i dont mean to do it, it would have to be my arrogance because i tend to be very big headed about things. Another would probably be my patience because i get distracted very easily so that could cause a problem.
Question 5: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE BAND ?
MARK: I think my commitment to the band because i am always willing to do new things, although sometimes i dont want to do new stuff. Yea my commitment.
Question 6: NAME ONE THING YOU THINK EACH BAND MEMBER COULD IMPROVE UPON
MARK SAID
NEIL- I dont think Neil has anything he can improve upon, he has abit of trouble learning the drums but thats only because he hasnt got a drum kit.
GAV- He needs to be up for doing more things and not get so stroppy and moody.
AL- Doesnt really need to improve on anything, maybe when hes playing a song he plays a note out but thats about it.
Question 7: WILL YOU SELL OUT ?
MARK: I probably will yea. NAH to be honest it would have to be over the £20mil mark.
Question 8: WHO DO YOU GET ALONG WITH MOST IN THE BAND WHY ?
MARK: That would be Al because we have similar personalities and sense of humour. We're also into the same things.
Question 9: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU COULD IMPROVE UPON ?
MARK: Again not be so arrogant. I dont think i could completely stop the sarcasm because i live by sarcasm.

THIRDLY AL. ALS INTERVIEW STARTED OFF WITH GAV POURING AL A GLASS OF WHISKY.

Question 1: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO GET FROM THE BAND ?
AL: I dont really care about being big, all iwant is to is peoples reactions at gigs.
Question 2: IF ANYONE WHO IN THE BAND INFLUENCES YOU THE MOST ?
AL: To be honest Gav because he learns quickly and he also adds his own character to songs.
Question 3: IN ONE WORD DESCRIBE EACH BAND MEMBER
AL SAID:

Question 4: NAME ONE OF YOUR FLAWS WHICH YOU THINK COULD PISS OFF OTHER BAND MEMBERS
AL: I think i play guitar too much when people are trying to talk, reason being i dont get much chance to play it home because my dads in bed alot
Question 5: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE BAND ?
AL: I contribute my goals i think, because i want to be in the music industry in the future. So yea my goals.
Question 6: NAME ONE THING YOU THINK EACH BAND MEMBER COULD IMPROVE UPON
AL SAID
NEIL- Its hard to say because he hasnt got drum kit
GAV- More confidence because he tends to stay quiet alot of the time
MARK- Again cofidence because he hasnt really had much experience vocally, i think its good now but it will progress
Question 7: WILL YOU SELL OUT ?
AL: I think its too early to say, all i want is to be recognized even if its just among telford.
Question 8: WHO DO YOU GET ALONG WITH MOST IN THE BAND WHY ?
AL: I think it would be unfair to say, because i think we all get along equally as much. I do think we piss each other off but that is healthy. I think there would be more fights if we saw each other all the time. I think thats why there is the tension between Mark and Gav because you see each other 24/7 but like i said we need arguments coz thats how we progress.
Question 9: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU COULD IMPROVE UPON ?
AL: I think that when we do a cover we dont do it in the exact structure that the song has, and i think i could improve on that. THE REST OF THE BAND THEN SAID HOW THEY DIDNT WANT TO DO IT THE EXACT SAME WAY AND THAT THEY WANT TO ADD THERE OWN STYLE.

LASTLY NEIL
Question 1: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO GET FROM THE BAND ?
NEIL: Its not personnal satisfaction, i just wanna know that everyone else in the band is happy.
Question 2: IF ANYONE WHO IN THE BAND INFLUENCES YOU THE MOST ?
NEIL: I think the way we can all work together influences me the most.
Question 3: IN ONE WORD DESCRIBE EACH BAND MEMBER

Question 4: NAME ONE OF YOUR FLAWS WHICH YOU THINK COULD PISS OFF OTHER BAND MEMBERS
NEIL: Definetly very rapid learner, im not saying that i am slow its just that i need to know what a song goes like before i can play it. I can never read music but if i hear the drums in the song i can play it instantly.
Question 5: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE BAND ?
NEIL: I think because i am the drummer i keep everyone in time, not sounding big-headed i think because i do the beat i keep it all nice and in time.
Question 6: NAME ONE THING YOU THINK EACH BAND MEMBER COULD IMPROVE UPON
NEIL SAID:
MARK- To quick to jump the gun
GAV- Needs to speak up more and keep things bottled up
AL- Al is almost spot on because he can pick out peoples faults and pros and then talk about them afterwards. So Al could probably improve on being less of a better human.
Question 7: WILL YOU SELL OUT?
NEIL: After this interview i dont know if i could say yes, before it would've depended on the amount of cash. Now its pretty cool to know you've got friends behind you all the way.
Question 8: WHO DO YOU GET ALONG WITH MOST IN THE BAND WHY ?
NEIL: It is definetly Gav because hes easy to talk to and we both like the same things. But i think we need divisions of friendships because it would just be unreal if we all liked exactly the same things.
Question 9: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU COULD IMPROVE UPON ?
NEIL: I take time picking up on a beat and i think it can slow things down abit, but in time that improve.
